for clinical & office hours Healing Heroes Recovery Center is seeking a passionate and skilled clinician specializing in family and couples counseling for first responders to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive and confidential support to the brave men and women who selflessly serve our communities. As a Clinician, you will contribute to our mission of empowering first responders and their families on their journey to recovery and resilience.

Responsibilities:

Provide trauma-informed individual, family, couples, and group therapy. Perform crisis intervention when necessary. Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality to create a safe space for first responders to seek help without judgment. Demonstrate empathy and compassion in all interactions, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of clinicians to ensure integrated and comprehensive care. Consult with colleagues to share insights, strategies, and best practices for trauma-focused care. Maintain appropriate clinical documentation. Stay informed about the latest developments in trauma-focused therapy and related fields.

Qualifications:

Master's or doctoral degree in marriage and family therapy, psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.

NJ License/Certification:

LMFT/LAMFT or Doctorate (or comparable license) 2 years post degree clinical experience. Specialized training or certification in trauma-focused therapeutic modalities is preferred. Experience working with first responders or similar populations is highly desirable.
