This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in psychotherapy within a supportive environment. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments, providing talk therapy sessions, and supporting clients through their mental health journeys using innovative treatment modalities and completing requirements towards licensure pursuit. Your work will help foster healthier relationships and improve overall well-being in diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Header Duties Conduct intake assessments and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical ethical guidelines and HIPAA regulations. Provide individual, couples, family, and group therapy utilizing evidence-based practices such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, etc Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing urgent mental health or behavioral issues. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward positive change and enhance engagement in therapy. Manage clinical documentation standards by accurately recording patient data, progress notes, and treatment outcomes in compliance with healthcare diagnosis codes such as ICD-10 and CPT coding. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care plans, especially for clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Engage in case management activities including data collection, patient assessment, and follow-up to ensure comprehensive care delivery. Header Experience Working towards eligibility for licensure as a Marriage and Family Therapist (MFT) with relevant state licensing boards. Demonstrated experience in psychotherapy with diverse populations including children, adolescents, and families. Proven ability to work effectively with individuals facing mental health challenges such as ADHD, PTSD, Family systems theory, etc Experience delivering services via telehealth platforms with proficiency in telehealth best practices. Familiarity with clinical research methods and documentation standards related to behavioral health interventions. Knowledge of mental health terminology, hospital procedures, and medical records management is preferred. Strong skills in fundamentals of a growing towards fully licensed clinician, independent, organized, driven, collaborative, entrepreneurial, crisis management, behavioral management techniques, and working within clinical ethical guidelines are essential for success in this role.
