Mental Health Therapist

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate psychotherapist to join our growing private practice. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality therapeutic services and open to growing and collaborating with others. Currently we are prioritizing candidates that show an interest working with clients with OCD, Body Dysmorphic Disorder, and providing a form of exposure therapy for OCD and anxiety disorders. Candidates who are also open to seeing children and teens will also be prioritized. Responsibilities Conduct individual therapy Complete sessions notes in a timely manner Perform diagnostic evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs. Develop personalized treatment plans based on client assessments and progress. Maintain accurate and confidential medical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards that includes completing progress notes. Participate in monthly clinical meetings/consultations Mild cleaning in office space maybe need from time to time (sweeping office room, dusting surface in space, vacuuming you office space). Ability to average a minimum of 24 sessions ( this will roughly equate to 30-33 hours) Ability to offer at least 2 days a week for in person availability Skills & Qualifications Candidates are required to have a master's degree in one of the behavioral sciences or related fields from an accredited college or university and licensed or on track to obtain licensure in their designated field Have an active Kentucky license to practice as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, CSW, LMFTA or LPCA. At least one year experience provided a form of exposure therapy, is preferred. Completed training to treat OCD with CBT-I, ACT or ERP is preferred. Ability to pass a background check. Proficient in conducting diagnostic evaluations and formulating treatment plans. Ability to maintain detailed medical records while ensuring confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and foster a trusting therapeutic relationship. Commitment to ongoing professional development and adherence to ethical guidelines in psychotherapy. Experience working with electronic medical records are preferred. Proficient with utilizing a computer is required.

This position is a W2 position with hourly pay based on hour work with 65-70% (depends on experience) of paid time being direct client work (session time) with minimum hours being 32 and up to 40 hour week.
