Job Description
Overview Join our team as a Mental Health Therapist and play a meaningful role in supporting individuals on their path to better mental health. In this position, you'll provide one-on-one therapy in an outpatient setting, working with a diverse range of clients and needs. You'll use your clinical skills to assess and diagnose clients, create personalized treatment plans, and deliver thoughtful, evidence-based care throughout their journey. You'll also have the flexibility to choose your own hours and build a schedule that works best for you and your clients. Duties Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions incorporating a variety of modalities. Maintain documentation adhering to HIPAA regulations, including detailed progress notes and treatment plans. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for case management and patient care coordination as needed. Facilitate intake assessments via telehealth or in-person visits while ensuring compliance with medical terminology standards and CPT coding for billing purposes. Qualifications Master's degree or higher in social work, psychology, counseling, or related field from an accredited institution. Valid licensure or certification as a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW), licensed professional counselor (LPC), or equivalent in the respective state or region. Proven experience in behavioral health settings such as outpatient clinics, hospitals, or inpatient units. Proficiency in psychotherapy techniques. Familiarity with ICD coding systems (ICD-9/ICD-10), medical terminology, and electronic health record systems ensuring accurate documentation. Experience working with children, geriatrics, individuals with disabilities—including autism—and diverse cultural backgrounds. Strong skills in patient assessment, case management, group therapy facilitation, and behavioral management strategies.
Pay:
