The F.L. Wolters Group (FLWG) is seeking a self-motivated, part-time therapist who wants to grow their own clinical practice with the support, guidance, referrals, and collaboration of an established group practice. This is an ideal role for a clinician who wants more than a caseload. We are looking for someone who wants to shape their clinical identity, build meaningful relationships with clients, facilitate groups, contribute to wellness programming, and add their own mark to a growing practice. FLWG is a Black-, LGBTQ-, and woman-owned private psychotherapy and wellness practice. We serve individuals through outpatient therapy and partner with organizations to provide wellness programming across the Washington, DC metro area. This is a hybrid role based in Washington, DC . Because many of our clients are seeking in-person care, candidates must be available to see clients in the office at least one day per week . We are open to independently licensed clinicians and LGPC clinicians who are licensed in DC. Why Work With Us? At The FLWG, therapists have the opportunity to grow their own clinical voice without managing the business side of private practice alone. We provide credentialing, billing, scheduling support, referrals, administrative systems, supervision or consultation, and a collaborative practice community. Our clients often come to therapy navigating anxiety, depression, neurodiversity, identity, relationships, family expectations, burnout, life transitions, and the pressure of holding a lot together. Many come from immigrant, queer, Black, Latinx, BIPOC, and multicultural backgrounds. Most are high-achieving professionals, students, creatives, caregivers, and community leaders seeking a counseling relationship where they feel seen, understood, and supported by someone who can hold the complexity of their lived experience. Our practice is also home to The FLWG Way , our whole-person wellness model that connects therapy with groups, workshops, wellness planning, and community-based supports grounded in the 8 dimensions of wellness. Through The FLWG Way, therapists have opportunities to engage not only with their individual clients, but also with the broader FLWG and DMV communities through groups, workshops, wellness programming, and community-based offerings. Compensation is paid per completed client session and is based on session reimbursement, licensure level, caseload, role responsibilities, and sustained client care. This role carries a part-time caseload of 13 clients per week . Based on current reimbursement rates, expected gross compensation for this role generally ranges from $570-$715 per week when the therapist maintains 13 completed client sessions per week. Group and workshop compensation is determined separately based on program structure and therapist role.
