We are searching for a great therapist to fill a part-time hybrid role working with a diverse range of clients and support the practice as it grows. There are opportunities to develop a full-time caseload over the next several months. Camellia Counseling offers outpatient therapy services to individuals in New Jersey struggling with issues related to anxiety, depression, body image, trauma, relationship distress, life transitions, and more. Clinicians must be licensed in NJ as an
LPC/LCSW.
The ideal candidate is excited about providing therapy services and knowledgeable of relevant diagnoses, capable of effective treatment planning, and adept at implementing evidence-based therapy practices. They will also be organized and timely with a passion for providing therapy services, a willingness to always keep learning, and a commitment to providing the highest level of compassionate care to clients. Experience working with children is a huge plus. Job Responsibilities Establishes positive, trusting rapport with clients through an in-depth intake assessment and subsequent therapy sessions. Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders on an outpatient level, including disorders related to anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, and trauma. Creates individualized treatment plans collaboratively with clients to ensure treatment meets each client's unique needs and circumstances. Meets with patients regularly to provide evidence-based counseling services and adjust treatment plans as necessary. Conducts ongoing assessments of client progress and makes necessary referrals in an effective and caring manner. Involves family members in treatment when appropriate. Maintains thorough and accurate records of client sessions in a timely manner. Follows all gold standard procedures related to maintaining client safety and confidentiality, including risk assessments and mandated reporting when needed. Maintains compliance with insurance billing and state licensure requirements. Licensure & Experience Requirements Must hold a Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field Must be licensed in New Jersey as an
LPC/LCSW
Experience working with commonly occurring mental health disorders through implementation of evidence-based treatment procedures Familiarity and comfort with risk assessments and managing client safety Willing to be paneled with insurance companies, if not already paneled Experience with EMR systems Ability to work a hybrid schedule Experience working with children and/or couples a plus Therapist Qualifications Strong time management and organizational skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Passionate about providing the highest quality of compassionate mental health services Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Willingness to always be learning and stay open to new challenges What We Offer Hybrid part-time role with flexibility in scheduling and opportunities to expand to full-time in the near future Comfortable and warm office space in Woodcliff Lake, NJ with convenient parking and access to kitchen Competitive hourly compensation Ability to work independently Additionally opportunities for engagement with the practice, including social media marketing and development of blog posts Camellia Counseling is excited about adding a new member to our team and expanding opportunities for collaboration between therapists.
