Mental Health Therapist

Heart Centered Counseling Services is a private practice counseling office located in Gilbert, AZ. We treat individuals, families, and couples with mental health concerns. We see children, adolescents, and adults. We work with some private insurance providers for independently licensed therapists. We are looking for an associate level or independent counselor/therapist (LAC, LPC, LMSW, LCSW, Psychologist, LAMFT, LMFT) to join our team as an Independent Contractor. As a therapist, you will be responsible for conducting psychotherapy, preparing mental health plan assessments, progress notes, developing treatment plans and completing all mandated reports. Sessions are in person and via a HIPPA compliant telehealth portal, depending on client and therapist needs. Flexibility in your schedule, billing, administrative, and EHR support will be provided. Some marketing will be provided as well, however due to the contractor position/relationship, marketing on contractor's end is strongly encouraged. We are looking for self-motivated, curious, easy going, ethical therapists who are eager to help clients and grow their clinical skills to join our already awesome team. Therapists with specialized training or training in couple's work are in demand. Supervision with an AZBBHE Approved Supervisor is included for associate level therapists. LMFT and LCSW supervisors on staff.

License Requirements:

Licensed Associate Counselor, Licensed Master Social Worker, Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist in AZ (Required), or Independently Licensed clinician who is in good standing with Arizona Board of Behavioral Health Examiners.

Additional Requirements:

The ability to obtain and maintain malpractice insurance as well as general liability insurance Must have smart phone and computer If providing telehealth from home, must have secured area for providing therapy.

Education:

Master's degree in Mental Health (Required)

Job Type:

Part-time Independent Contractor with room to grow to full time (22+ direct client hours/week)

Description of Responsibilities & Job Requirements:

Provide psychotherapy services as an independent contractor to adults, children, teens, families, and/or couples in person and via Telehealth. Conduct intakes, diagnose, bio-psycho-social assessments, prepare treatment plans, and implements evidenced-based interventions utilizing various treatment modalities. Provide referrals as needed and collaborate with appropriate agencies as needed. Responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation in a timely manner according to Federal, State, and Company Guidelines. Practice high clinical and ethical standards of the mental health profession. DSM-5 diagnostic competency Meet with Clinical Director at least 1 time per month for supervision for all associate level therapists. Maintain documentation of clinical supervision hours and client hours for licensure if an Associate Level Therapist.
