Job Description
Overview Join our dedicated mental health team as a Mental Health Therapist, where you will play a vital role in providing compassionate, comprehensive care to individuals across diverse populations. This dynamic position offers the opportunity to deliver evidence-based therapies and develop personalized treatment plans that foster healing and resilience. You will work in a collaborative environment committed to advancing mental health outcomes through innovative approaches and empathetic support. Responsibilities Provide individual and family counseling sessions Implement crisis intervention strategies and crisis management protocols to ensure immediate safety and stabilization for clients experiencing acute distress. Utilize telehealth platforms to deliver remote therapy sessions while maintaining HIPAA compliance and secure medical documentation practices. Develop and document treatment plans and progress notes Requirements Master's degree or higher in psychology, social work, counseling, or a related mental health field Valid licensure in Nebraska as a PLMHP, LMHP, or LMHP Proven experience delivering psychotherapy within an outpatient setting Experience with crisis management protocols and working with individuals experiencing trauma Familiarity with telehealth technology platforms ensuring secure patient interactions aligned with HIPAA regulations. Ability to work effectively with children, adolescents, adults, geriatrics, and individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder. Excellent communication skills combined with a compassionate approach to client care; ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism and empathy.
