Job Description

Job Summary The primary responsibility of the Clinician is to provide a range of therapeutic services including assessment, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy, psychosocial rehabilitative services focused on improving client functioning and more. The Clinician provides services on-site, in school, office, or other available location(s) as determined by Heal Grow Thrive. The Clinician provides services to a range of diverse persons served both individually and with groups including children, adolescents, and adults. The Clinician will receive supervision and direction from Clinical Supervisors and Directors. The Clinician is trained to perform assessments, treatment planning, individual therapy, family therapy, group therapy , and psychosocial rehabilitation services within the community. The Clinician participates in multidisciplinary treatment teams to target individualized treatment plans and assist in other services being provided by qualified and licensed members of Heal Grow Thrive. The Clinician will be structured by the work calendar as determined by the site they work at per discretion of Heal Grow Thrive. The Clinician will comply with all necessary documents/reports; writing as indicated by Heal Grow Thrive compliance rules. The principal functions of the position identified shall not be considered as a complete description of all the work requirements and expectations that may be inherent in the position; there may be instances where Heal Grow Thrive will ask Clinician to perform a function inherent in the position. Responsibilities Clinician must produce a required number of billable hours of service per week as requested by Employer and supervised by the Clinical Supervisory Team. Compliance and production are to be assessed every 4 weeks, this begins upon the 3rd week of employment, to ensure Clinician has produced a total of required billable hours of service in that 4 week period. (4 week period/2 pay period time frame). Every 4 weeks clinician must have documented the required billable hours. Employee must make home visits during weeks when the program site(s) may be closed. Clinician must use Employer's EMR system and Employer's Time Management System to track working hours and services documented. Clinician must log all work hours through the Employer's Time Management System. Clinician must also use it to track location for billable services. Clinician must produce these hours within the required timeframe in the best interest of persons served and the Employer. Clinician may provide services in a variety of locations and scenarios which include but are not limited to: the community at large, school sites, Employer program sites, Employer offices. Clinician must be able to travel to these different locations as ordered by Employer when assigned a person served to their caseload. Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work, Mental Health, Marriage and Family, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field is required. Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor or equivalent credential is preferred. Experience working with children, and families. Familiarity with mental health therapeutic interventions such as
DBT, CBT
etc. Strong understanding of medical terminology and experience with medical documentation processes. Proven ability to manage crises effectively while maintaining a supportive environment for clients. Knowledge of special education resources and experience working within outpatient or inpatient settings is beneficial. Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse populations.
