In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and case management services across diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately identify mental health conditions. Provide individual, group, and family counseling sessions employing evidence-based therapies such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Deliver crisis intervention and crisis management services to de-escalate urgent situations and ensure patient safety. Develop personalized treatment plans aligned with clinical research findings and best practices in behavioral health. Document all patient interactions meticulously in medical records while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including social workers, medical professionals, educators, and case managers to coordinate comprehensive care. Utilize telehealth platforms effectively to reach clients remotely while ensuring high-quality patient care across outpatient settings. Skills Extensive experience in psychotherapy modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, and addiction counseling. Proficiency in crisis management techniques and crisis intervention strategies for acute mental health episodes. Strong background working with children, adolescents, individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), geriatrics, and patients with chronic pain or PTSD. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation; knowledge of CPT coding for billing purposes. Ability to conduct intake assessments efficiently while managing complex cases involving special education needs or gender issues counseling. Experience providing Christian counseling or culturally sensitive mental health services when applicable. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and experience working within hospital or inpatient settings is preferred.
