Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Mental Health Therapist to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, adults, and seniors. Utilizing evidence-based practices such as psychotherapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, and crisis intervention, you will deliver personalized care through outpatient clinics, inpatient settings, or telehealth platforms. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments and diagnostic evaluations utilizing ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding systems to accurately document mental health conditions. Develop individualized treatment plans incorporating modalities such as psychodynamic therapy, behavioral therapy, art therapy, dance therapy, and applied behavior analysis tailored to each client's needs. Deliver individual and group counseling sessions focusing on issues like grief, addiction, PTSD, gender identity, chronic pain management, and developmental disabilities. Implement crisis management strategies to support clients experiencing acute mental health emergencies or behavioral crises. Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams through case management practices while ensuring compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintaining detailed medical records. Utilize telehealth technology to extend mental health services remotely, ensuring accessibility for clients with mobility or transportation challenges. Engage in clinical research and data collection efforts to improve treatment outcomes and contribute to the advancement of behavioral health practices. Experience MSW or PhD. Proven experience working with children, adolescents, or geriatrics in outpatient or inpatient settings within behavioral health or clinical counseling environments. Demonstrated expertise in psychotherapy techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), psychodynamic therapy, and addiction counseling. Hands-on experience with crisis intervention protocols and crisis management procedures in hospital or community-based settings. Familiarity with ICD coding (ICD-9/ICD-10) for accurate diagnosis documentation and medical record keeping. Prior telehealth experience is preferred to effectively deliver remote mental health services. Knowledge of medical terminology related to behavioral health and experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD). Strong understanding of HIPAA compliance standards and medical documentation requirements necessary for patient care confidentiality. $60.00 - $110.00 per hour
