Job Description

Overview Masengale Counseling is a small, but growing private practice specializing in trauma, OCD, and anxiety, primarily serving individual Gen Z and Millennial women. We are passionate about providing high-quality, evidence-based care in a supportive and collaborative environment. We are currently seeking a therapist who is eager to deepen their clinical skills and grow within a practice that values autonomy and professional development.
For pre-licensed therapists:
This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with anxiety, OCD, and complex trauma. Clinical supervision includes training and integration of modalities such as Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), EMDR, and somatic approaches, including Polyvagal Theory and IFS-informed practices.
For fully licensed therapists:
We welcome clinicians with a strong interest in trauma and anxiety, as well as those bringing additional specialties or niches—particularly in areas such as eating disorders, child therapy, family therapy, couples therapy or other complimentary niches that can expand the care we provide. We're looking for someone who: Is organized, reliable, and detail-oriented Is a self-starter who can manage their schedule and caseload independently Thrives in a hands-off, flexible work environment Is motivated to continue learning and developing clinically What you'll be doing: Providing therapy either remotely, in person, or hybrid Building and maintaining a caseload of 22 client hours per week (FT) Completing progress notes, treatment plans, and intakes in a timely manner Maintaining your own schedule on a weekly basis

Demonstrated ability to handle crisis situations effectively through crisis management skills and crisis intervention training. Familiarity with medical terminology related to mental health conditions and experience with medical records management. Excellent communication skills for intake procedures, patient assessment, and collaboration with the team; proficiency in telehealth technology is preferred.
