Mental Health Therapist

We are looking for a skilled Mental Health Therapist to help clients with treatment and support. As a Mental Health Therapist, you will have a role in the outpatient treatment of adults and adolescents. Your responsibilities will include caring for your clients by providing individual counseling, group therapy, teaching them coping and problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate should be able to work well in group situations and be comfortable interacting with people from all backgrounds. We believe that a successful Mental Health Therapist is flexible and can take on different tasks when needed.

Education:

A Masters in social work or in mental health counseling is required.

Professional Licensure:

Full license in Social Work, Professional Licensed Counselor, Limited social worker and a limited professional counselor are accepted to apply.

Responsibilities:

Promote health, wellness, and active lifestyles by providing supportive counseling. Assess client's needs, provide counseling and resources to facilitate the recovery process. Establish and maintain client relationships, which may include conducting interviews, creating treatment plans and monitoring client progress. Confer with medical staff to coordinate patient care plans. Prepare daily reports of activities and document significant incidents.
