Job Description

Crescent Counseling Group is growing! Because of high the demand, we are in search of well trained, professionally licensed mental health care providers. Crescent Counseling Group is a small, women-owned private practice. We work with couples, families, and individuals using trauma informed, attachment-based care. We offer a culture of ongoing growth, support, and safety.
We are looking to hire:
Couples Counselor - particularly one who is Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) trained or interested in learning and/or being supervised in this model. Mental Health Therapist (Remote) Mental Health Therapist (On-site)
Pay:
$80,000+ per year This is a contracted position requiring the clinician to bill a minimum of 20 hourly sessions per week. Therapists keep their own schedules with room for flexibility. Responsibilities Include:
Providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy to clients ages 13 and older Working with a wide array of mental health concerns including: personality disorders, mood disorders, anxiety, substance use, grief, adjustment disorders, relationship struggles, and trauma Diagnosing mental health and substance use disorders using DSM-5 criteria Conceptualizing and treating clients through a trauma informed, attachment-based lens Working with clients to identify goals and formulate treatment plans Completing required documentation for all services provided (assessments, progress notes, and treatment plans) Collecting client payments Scheduling client appointments Building caseload through self-promotion, marketing, and client referrals Participating in weekly supervision and case conferences with colleagues Maintaining updated clinical knowledge through participation in webinars and trainings Making appropriate referrals and working with other providers as needed
Qualifications:
Master's level degree in Social Work or Clinical Mental Health Counseling or a related field of study Current counseling license through the state of WV licensing board Able to make ethical and professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendation for treatment planning and implementation Working knowledge of HIPAA laws and legal guidelines stipulating psychiatric admission requirements Able to work independently and as a positive member of a team Able to establish and maintain effective working relationships with mentally or emotionally disabled persons and their families Excellent written and verbal communication
