Mental Health Therapist Pay Range:
$27.00-$37.00/hour (Compensation varies based on licensure status, experience, schedule, and role. We welcome licensed clinicians, pre-licensed clinicians, and interns eligible to provide services under supervision.) Program Description Wings is an innovative and growing organization providing co-occurring substance use and mental health residential services to adolescents and their families. Our residents receive care from a multidisciplinary team including Mental Health Therapists, Addiction Counselors, Social Workers, Nursing Professionals, Case Managers, Fitness & Nutrition Coaches, Yoga Instructors, Residential Support Staff, and Mentors. Position Description Wings Mental Health Therapists provide individual and group therapy services to adolescents in a structured residential setting. Our therapists benefit from a thoughtful division of responsibilities that allows them to focus on meaningful clinical work and building effective therapeutic relationships. Therapists receive consistent clinical support, weekly individual supervision, professional development opportunities, and access to a multidisciplinary team focused on whole-person care.
Responsibilities Include:
Provide individual and group counseling services Facilitate client education and therapeutic programming Complete diagnostic assessments and treatment planning Provide crisis intervention and clinical support Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation Collaborate with residents, families, and external care providers Provide mental health training and education to employees as needed
Qualifications:
LPCC, LICSW, LMFT, or eligible to provide mental health services under the supervision of a board-approved supervisor Ability to pass a MN DHS background study Commitment to providing ethical, compassionate, and high-quality care Passion for supporting adolescents ages 13-18
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working with adolescents Experience working with co-occurring substance use and mental health disorders Experience in residential, behavioral health, or trauma-informed settings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team Strong communication skills with residents, families, guardians, and outside providers Ability to build safe, therapeutic relationships with youth Strong boundaries, professionalism, and emotional regulation skills Ability to respond effectively to a variety of clinical needs
