Job Description

About us Welcome to Breakthrough Behavioral Health Services, where compassionate care meets excellence in mental health treatment. We are a psychiatry office dedicated to providing culturally sensitive and effective mental health services to individuals and families in our community. At Breakthrough Behavioral Health Services, we believe that everyone deserves access to high-quality mental health care, and we are committed to breaking down barriers and stigmas associated with mental health in underserved populations.
Duties:
  • Conduct therapy sessions with individuals or groups using various therapeutic techniques and modalities.
  • Assess clients' mental health needs and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Provide counseling and support to clients with several mental health conditions not limited to anxiety, depression, mood disorder, etc.
  • Utilize CBT, art therapy, dance therapy, or other creative therapies as appropriate for clients.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists or special education teachers, to coordinate care.
  • Collect and analyze data on client progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
  • Stay up-to-date on current research and best practices in therapy and psychopharmacology.
Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., psychology, counseling) required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Experience working with individuals of all ages is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with coding and documentation requirements for insurance billing is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients of all ages.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
