Job Description

Position Highlights:
Flexible hours (Hybrid)Competitive Pay Per sessionScheduling, Admin, & Billing SupportSupervision included (LAC only) Opportunity to Learn DBT SkillsProfessional Development Assistance Clinical autonomy in a supportive environmentThe licensed Mental Health Therapist (part time) is responsible for providing evidenced based, therapy services to children, adolescents, and adults (ages 5-65yrs) referred to Perspectives Counseling Center LLC. We are asking for 15 hours/sessions per week.

Licensed Therapist duties include: 1. Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments, intakes, treatment plans, and safety plans.2. Provide at least two in-person days and some availability during after school hours. 3. Obtain Bio-psychosocial history & develop treatment plans. 4. Provide individual therapy, family support meetings, and discharge planning. 5. Demonstrate competency in the knowledge and skills necessary to maximize best possible treatment outcomes for each client. 6. Attend required meetings, group supervisions, and weekly clinical supervision (if applicable)7. Maintain multi-cultural sensitivity and awareness with clients and other professionals. 8. Provide crisis support as outlined in the scope of work. 9. Complete and submit billable documentation prior to payment for services. 10. Will maintain the client schedule and offer availability for in-person and telehealth sessions.11. Will provide at-least 1 day and evening availability for in office sessions12. Must submit timely and complete notes, treatment plans, service orders, authorizations, assessments, and other applicable documentation from all completed sessions as needed for reimbursement.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Education Masters degree in social work, psychology or related human services field Licensure in New Jersey LCSW, LPC, or P.hd. Psy.
D, LCDAC
(preferred) LAC, (supervision is included)LSW- (supervision must be obtained by outside supervisor) Experience Strong documentation skills Strong Interpersonal and assessment skills Ability to work effectively with families and treatment partners Minimum of 2 years of experience in mental health counseling, social work, crisis work, or related field Knowledge of ethics and professional standards Knowledge of evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, Trauma Informed, Mindfulness, Substance and/or co-occurring, etc) Experience with child/adolescent population (preferred) Experience with working with culturally diverse populations (preferred) Understanding of substance use disorders and co-occurring disorders Knowledge of HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy practices Other Proof of Professional Liability Insurance withMinimum of $1million/$3 million Valid drivers license Successful completion of background clearances Have completed or in the process of completing CAQH application (if eligible) Willing to be credentialed with employer in network insurance providers (if eligible) Registered National Provider Identification Number (NPI)
