We work with couples, families, and individuals — with deep concentration in couples therapy, infidelity recovery, life-stage transitions, identity work, and telehealth across all 21 NJ counties. We are out-of-network on purpose. Smaller caseloads. No insurance panel administration. Time and attention go into the work, not into authorization calls. mostly telehealth statewide via secure platform, plus in-person Sundays at our Maplewood office. Supervision support. Weekly group supervision with an LCSW for LSW, LAMFT, and LAC clinicians. Peer mentoring for LMFT clinicians. Owner is a 30+ year LCSW who actually answers her email.About the role:
We are hiring a part-time licensed therapist (LSW, LCSW, LAMFT, LMFT, LAC, or LPC) to join our clinical team. The work is mostly virtual, with in-person Sunday hours at our Maplewood office. Required availability (this is how a steady caseload actually gets built — paid client demand peaks evenings and weekends, and we need clinicians who can match that): Sunday 9 AM to 3 PM (in-office or virtual) —REQUIRED

Monday 5 to 9 PM (virtual) Wednesday 5 to 9 PM (virtual) Friday 9 AM to 4 PM (virtual) — additional lane available More availability means faster caseload growth. If you can offer additional hours beyond the minimum, we are open to discussing what works for you. That conversation happens in the interview. If you can only do daytime weekday hours, this role will not work for either of us.Starting caseload:
12 to 15 client hours per week, with room to grow. Most new clinicians build a steady client base of 10 to 12 (or more) over the first 3 months. That is the rhythm of an out-of-network practice, and we are transparent about it so you can plan your income runway. Compensation (per-session split, paid as 1099):Entry:
$45 per 45-minute session, $60 per 60-minute sessionExperienced:
$65 to $75 per 45-minute session, $100 per 60-minute session Tier is set by license and post-license experience. Clinicians with couples experience qualify for the higher tier.You will fit here if:
You are NJ-licensed and want a sustainable, long-term part-time practice without building your own business infrastructure. You are committed to Sunday + at least two weekday evenings. You see these hours as where the work is, not as a sacrifice. You want to grow your caseload quickly and are open to discussing additional hours beyond the minimum schedule. You like clients who lead with "is this the right therapist?" rather than "is this covered?" Couples work or telehealth-first individual work is something you are either great at or want to grow into. You are comfortable working independently. We trust our clinicians to run their cases. You can plan for a 3-month caseload ramp. Building 12 to 15 hours per week in an OON practice is realistic but not instant. This probably is not the right fit if: You can only work weekday daytime hours. You are looking for full-time W-2 with benefits. You need a full caseload from day one. You want hospital or agency structure with assigned cases. You would prefer to take insurance directly rather than work in an OON practice.To apply:
