About Us:
OPA Behavioral Health provides comprehensive mental health services to children, adolescents, and adults across Florida. Services include mental health assessments, counseling, care coordination, and supportive interventions delivered through a hybrid model (Telehealth and in-office care).
Position Overview:
We are seeking multiple Master's Level Registered Therapist Interns (RMHCI, RCSWI, RMFTI) licensed in Florida to provide hybrid mental health services. This is a hybrid position (3 days in-office, 2 days remote in which you can work from home). Each role is assigned to one specific Florida office location. This is a fee-for-service (1099) opportunity offering flexibility and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct comprehensive intake assessments Provide individual, family, and supportive counseling services Deliver evidence-based mental health interventions Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide crisis intervention and care coordination support Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in compliance with Medicaid guidelines Utilize Telehealth platforms and EHR systems effectively
Minimum Requirements:
Active Florida registration as RMHCI, RCSWI, or RMFTI Minimum 1 year of mental health or clinical experience Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults
FARS/CFARS
Certification Professional Liability Insurance Experience with Telehealth services and EHR systems Strong documentation and typing skills Reliable internet connection and secure computer/laptop Ability to maintain HIPAA compliance Successful completion of background check
Preferred Qualifications:
Bilingual (English/Spanish) Familiarity with Medicaid documentation standards
