Job Description

Job Title:
Mental Health Outpatient Provider Job Summary:
As a Mental Health Outpatient Provider, you will be responsible for delivering essential mental health services to kids and adolescents in a school or office setting. You will assess, diagnose, and provide therapeutic interventions to clients with various mental health issues and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of your clients.
Key Responsibilities:

Assessment and Diagnosis:
Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to determine the client's condition and diagnose mental health disorders. Utilize standardized assessment tools and clinical interviews to gather information about the client's history, symptoms, and functional impairments. 2.
Treatment Planning:
Develop individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and parents, setting goals and objectives for therapy. Select and implement evidence-based interventions and treatment modalities based on the client's specific needs and diagnosis. 3.
Therapeutic Interventions:
Provide individual and group therapy sessions to clients, using various therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or psychotherapy. Offer crisis intervention and support for clients in distress. 4.
Monitoring and Documentation:
Regularly assess and monitor the progress of clients throughout their treatment, adjusting treatment plans as needed. Maintain accurate and confidential client records, documenting all interactions and treatment outcomes. 5.
Collaboration and Coordination:
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including social workers, student support teams, psychiatrists, and case managers, to ensure comprehensive care for clients. Communicate with external agencies, service providers, and families as needed to provide a holistic approach to care. 6.
Education and Support:
Educate clients and their families on mental health issues, treatment options, and coping strategies. Provide emotional and psychological support to clients to promote their overall well-being.
Qualifications:
Master's degree in social work, counseling, or a related field. State licensure/provisionally licensed as a mental health professional (e.g., LCMHC, LCSW, LCMHCA, LCSWA). Paneled with Insurance Preferred Clinical experience in mental health assessment and treatment. Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic techniques. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to work in a team and adapt to changing clinical needs. Understanding of ethical and legal standards in mental health care.
Pay:
From $60.00 per hour
