Job Location:

Ventura, California and via Telehealth The position: We are hiring part-time (20-30 hours per week) Associate Professional Clinical Counselor (APCC), Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT), and Associate Social Worker (ASW) to join our practice as a W-2 employee.

Qualifications:

Master's degree required in Counseling, Clinical Psychology, Marriage & Family Therapy, Social Work, or other related fields. Registered Associate number and in good standing with the Board of Behavioral Sciences in the state of California. No BBS allegations. Professional or lived experience supporting neurodivergent individuals. Passionate about working with neurodivergent individuals. Ability to commit to a minimum of 20 appointments per week for a minimum of 12 months. The ability to create session notes sufficient to support insurance billing.

Job Requirements:

Must carry a minimum of 20 client sessions per week. Active NPI number and professional liability insurance. For telehealth, sessions must have a HIPAA-compliant workspace with strong wifi and computer equipment to hold confidential sessions. Availability for two evenings per week until 7:30 PM Availability for at least one in-person day weekly in our Ventura office Commitment to culturally responsive, neurodivergent-affirming, and nonjudgmental care Must attend supervision sessions scheduled by clinical supervisor (mutual time to be agreed upon) Willingness to market yourself professionally through platforms such as Psychology Today, personal websites, and social media platforms.

Responsibilities:

Schedule and conduct psychotherapy sessions Provide 45-55 minute therapy sessions Maintain timely clinical documentation and treatment plans Complete progress notes within 3 days of sessions Attend weekly supervision meetings via telehealth Consult with supervising clinicians as needed Follow legal and ethical standards regarding crisis response and referrals Monitor client progress and treatment goals Use office systems and online tools professionally and responsibly Submit weekly hourly logs for payroll and billing processing What we offer: Referrals matched to your clinical interests and our practice specialty Insurance panels include Aetna, CenCal, Gold Coast, Universal Medi-Cal, Optum, and United Healthcare $38-45 per insurance-based clinical hour (rate depends on experience) 60/40 split for private-pay clients (clinician keeps 60%) Freedom to set your own private-pay rate $20 per hour to do notes, admin tasks, and attend supervision.
