Therapist (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT, Registered Intern) Eating Disorder Treatment Center Cooper City, FL 33026 Job Type Full-Time (35 hours per week) preferred Part-Time Contract opportunities may be available for highly qualified candidates who are a strong clinical and cultural fit for our team Schedule Monday-Friday Rotating on-call responsibilities Typical hours: 9:00 AM - 4:00 PM Contract opportunity hours would be adjusted About Us Milestones in Recovery is an eating disorder treatment center providing Residential, PHP, and IOP levels of care for adults struggling with eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. We are seeking a motivated, compassionate, and clinically strong therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. Our clinicians work collaboratively to provide individualized treatment for clients struggling with eating disorders, trauma, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and other co-occurring mental health conditions. We are primarily seeking a full-time therapist to support our growing program. However, we recognize that exceptional clinicians may be seeking a more flexible arrangement and are willing to consider a part-time contract therapist for the right candidate. Our treatment approach is highly individualized, client-centered, and rooted in compassion, accountability, and clinical excellence. Position Summary The Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy services while collaborating closely with the treatment team to support client progress throughout treatment. This role is ideal for a clinician who thrives in a team-based treatment environment and is passionate about helping individuals recover from eating disorders and co-occurring mental health conditions. Responsibilities Provide individual therapy sessions Facilitate psychoeducational, skills-based, and process groups Conduct biopsychosocial assessments Develop, implement, and update individualized treatment plans Provide family counseling and support Participate in multidisciplinary treatment team meetings Complete timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation Conduct risk assessments and crisis intervention as needed Collaborate with medical, psychiatric, nursing, nutrition, and operations staff Contribute to a positive, supportive, and recovery-focused treatment environment Qualifications Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field required Licensed clinician preferred (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT), but registered interns pursuing licensure are encouraged to apply Previous experience working in a behavioral health, residential, PHP, IOP, or treatment center setting preferred Experience treating eating disorders strongly preferred Experience with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders preferred Experience with crisis intervention, behavioral management, and suicide risk assessment required EMDR trained or EMDR certified clinicians strongly preferred Strong clinical documentation and communication skills Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary treatment team Comfortable utilizing electronic medical records systems (Kipu experience preferred) What We Offer Competitive compensation Benefits discussed during the interview process Office space available for private practice use after hours Supportive and collaborative team culture Opportunity to work alongside experienced eating disorder professionals Professional growth opportunities within a specialized treatment setting Work Location In-person One location Remote work not available Our Culture We value clinicians who are: People-oriented — supportive, compassionate, and fairness-focused Team-oriented — collaborative and cooperative Detail-oriented — quality and precision-focused Outcome-oriented — committed to meaningful client progress and clinical excellence Preferred Clinical Interests Candidates with experience or interest in the following areas are encouraged to apply: Eating Disorders Trauma and
