Job Summary:

Rebirth-Heart and Mind PLLC is seeking an Associate Licensed Therapist to join our growing team. This is a 1099 independent contractor position, offering flexible hours and the opportunity for growth and professional development in a supportive environment. The therapist will provide individual, group, and/or family therapy to clients of various ages and backgrounds under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Candidates must be able to offer in-person sessions at least one day per week and see clients during normal business hours at least two times per week. You will have the flexibility to create your own schedule, making this an ideal position for someone looking to make additional income, especially if you are already employed elsewhere. You also have the option of working evenings or weekends if you desire.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide individual therapy, group therapy, and/or family therapy to clients based on their needs and treatment goals, under the supervision of a licensed clinician. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that are strengths-based, culturally sensitive, and aligned with client goals. Utilize evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Humanistic Therapy, Trauma-Informed Care, and other therapeutic modalities. Document and maintain accurate client records in compliance with ethical, legal, and regulatory standards. Collaborate with other professionals, such as case managers, psychiatrists, and medical providers, as appropriate, to ensure comprehensive care. Maintain a safe, non-judgmental, and supportive environment for clients to explore personal issues, work through trauma, and build healthier coping mechanisms. Participate in regular supervision and team meetings for ongoing professional development and case consultation. Ensure adherence to confidentiality and HIPAA regulations.

Qualifications:

Masters degree or higher in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field. Active, unrestricted full licensure in the state of North Carolina (LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT, or equivalent), in good standing with the applicable licensing board. Strong interest in working with diverse populations and experience with trauma, addiction, and mental health concerns preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, etc.). Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting. Compassionate, empathetic, and culturally competent approach to therapy. Must be comfortable using electronic health record systems for documentation and billing. Must be able to offer in-person sessions at least one day per week. Must be able to see clients during normal business hours at least two times per week. Flexibility to work evenings or weekends, if desired.
