Job Summary:
The Therapist will counsel individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health. The Therapist will help individuals deal with thoughts of suicide; mental health symptoms; family, parenting, and marital problems; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and issues associated with aging and mental and emotional health. Responsibilities Provide individual, couples, or family counseling (based on your specialty) Complete clinical documentation in a timely manner Maintain professional boundaries and ethical standards Collaborate with our clinical and admin team Participate in team meetings or case consultations when needed Required Qualifications Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling, Social Work, Marriage & Family Therapy, or related field Active Florida license:
LMHC, LCSW, LMFT
(Registered Interns are welcome to apply) Strong interpersonal and communication skills Commitment to high-quality, culturally sensitive care Skills Knowledge of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation; psychological research methods; and the assessment and treatment of behavioral and affective disorders. Knowledge of principles, methods, and procedures for diagnosis, treatment, and rehabilitation of physical and mental dysfunctions, and for career counseling and guidance. Knowledge of group behavior and dynamics, societal trends and influences, human migrations, ethnicity, and cultures and their history and origins. Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services. Flexibility in days and hours available for scheduled work including weekends. Knowledge of and the ability to adhere to a professional code of ethics. Knowledge of and the ability to comply with Florida's mental health code.
