We offer in person and telehealth counseling services, and it is up to the therapist/client if they would like to schedule in person or via telehealth. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive therapeutic services to individuals across diverse populations, including children and/or adults. Your expertise will help clients navigate mental health challenges, develop coping strategies, and achieve personal growth through evidence-based practices. Duties Conduct thorough mental health assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs and treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy, behavioral therapy, play therapy, art therapy, and motivational interviewing.. Collect and document medical records, treatment progress notes, and clinical data in compliance with HIPAA regulations and clinical ethical guidelines. Facilitate intake processes for new clients and develop personalized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practices. Provide culturally sensitive counseling that respects diversity and promotes inclusivity within therapeutic settings. Qualifications Master's degree in social work, psychology, marriage and family, counseling, or a related field; licensure or certification as required by state law. Proven experience working with children, families, or individuals in home or community settings. Strong knowledge of mental health assessments, medical terminology, behavioral health interventions, and therapy modalities. Familiarity with medical documentation standards such as HIPAA and clinical ethical guidelines for confidentiality and patient rights. Ability to work effectively with diverse populations while demonstrating cultural competence. Excellent communication skills for individual and/or family counseling sessions as well as interdisciplinary collaboration.
