ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year in Marion, SC. This full-time position focuses on supporting students' emotional, behavioral, and mental health needs within a school-based setting. The therapist will work collaboratively with school staff to provide direct counseling services and promote a positive, supportive learning environment.
Work Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:00 AM•3:30
PM Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly pay rate: $40•45/hour (based on experience and licensure) Comprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision) 401(k) options Weekly pay Ongoing clinical support and professional development opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individual and group counseling services to students Conduct mental health assessments and support treatment planning Develop and implement intervention strategies for emotional and behavioral concerns Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Participate in multidisciplinary team and student support meetings Assist in crisis intervention and prevention strategies when needed Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
Qualifications:
Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field Active South Carolina licensure (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or eligibility to obtain) School-based or child/adolescent experience preferred Strong communication, empathy, and crisis management skills How to
