Schedule:
Part-Time (Approx. 12- 15 hours/week), Evening Hours 5-8pm, with some day time availability offered for group facilitation if interested.Compensation:
To be discussed during the interview. Position Overview Tennessee Valley Recovery is seeking a compassionate and skilled Part-Time Therapist to join our Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP). This role involves providing both group and individual therapy services to adult clients experiencing mental health and/or substance use disorders. The ideal candidate is collaborative, organized, technologically adept, and passionate about supporting clients in recovery and emotional wellness. We believe each employee contributes to the success and growth of our Company. Key Responsibilities- Facilitate structured group therapy sessions (approximately 6 groups per week)
- Provide clinical intakes and individual therapy sessions as clinically indicated
- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the clinical team
- Complete timely and accurate clinical documentation (progress notes, assessments, treatment plans, discharge summaries)
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards (e.g., CARF)
- Participate in treatment team meetings and case consultations
- Monitor client progress and adjust interventions as needed
- Assist with collection of UA screenings for SUD clients Qualifications
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Active or eligible for licensure in TN (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, etc.)
- Experience working in IOP, PHP, or outpatient settings preferred
- Strong group facilitation skills
- Knowledge of evidence-based modalities (CBT, DBT, ACT, trauma-informed care, etc.)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with co-occurring disorders
- Familiarity with trauma-focused therapies
