Part-time, Full-time Position Purpose:

Use clinical skills to provide individualized 1:1 ABA therapy to children aged 2-5 diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorders in their home under the direction of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). Will be developing language, social behavior, play and independent skills. Services provided will be up to Ethical Standards outlined by the BACB and will always be in the best interest of the children served.

Qualifications:

HS Diploma is required. Candidates must be interested in working with children with disabilities. Candidates must be able to interact with children playfully, enthusiastically and be able to engage in highly motivating activities. Candidates must work well in a team environment and be able to take direction from the Board Certified Behavior Analyst regarding treatment protocols and directions. Candidates must be able to follow written direction, take accurate data and complete clinical documentation up to clinical and ethical standards. Candidates must have reliable transportation to provide consistent and timely treatment with the children they serve. Candidates will be CPR Certified or get CPR certification prior to starting the position. Candidates must be reliable and engage in professional behavior at all times.

Major Responsibilities:

Behavior therapists be responsible for providing effective therapy sessions according to written treatment protocols while accurately recording responses. Behavior therapists will receive on-going direction from the BCBA/Case Supervisor to foster continued development of skillset.
