Neurofeedback Technician Logan, UT $13

  • Part-time Avalon Hills is seeking for the right person to join our team of Neurofeedback Technicians.
Role and Responsibilities Administer neuropsychological assessments according to schedule Acquire and submit quantitative EEG data according to schedule Maintain, clean, and inventory neurofeedback equipment and supplies Execute neurofeedback treatment plan and integrate neuro and biofeedback treatment modalities with other areas of patient treatment Give excellent patient care through implementation of the Treat to Outcome (TTO) philosophy Conduct high quality groups and individual sessions in accordance with company policy and TTO philosophy Complete all charting according to schedule and quality guidelines Regularly participate in patient activities and help patients process in the moment Ensure families, guardians, and outpatient providers are adequately informed on patient status by maintaining effective communication during patients' treatment at Avalon Hills when relevant information regarding patient neuro and other biofeedback training is requested Communicate with interdisciplinary treatment team members/departments regarding patient care issues, behavior plans, safety watches, therapeutic challenges, et cetera Attend training supervision as required Work with Direct Care and other appropriate departments as needed to assist in mentoring and advancing the skill set of staff in the delivery of patient care BCIA Certification in Neurofeedback preferred, or willingness to earn BCIA certification within two years of employment Other duties as assigned Qualifications and Education Requirements Computer Literate Applicants must be 18 years or older Listening, organizing, and planning Ability to work closely with all levels of the organization Understanding and willingness to learn more about: Neurophysiology, anatomy, effects of nutrition on the brain, EEG brain waves, qEEG brain mapping equipment, neurofeedback equipment, neurofeedback brain training, and other biofeedback training Capable of working in environments of emotional stress Strong interpersonal and psychosocial skills Due to training and educational investment in this position, a three-year commitment is preferred Covid vaccination Shifts Mainly weekdays, but may require weekends, and some holidays Preferred Skills Completion of BCIA Board Certification in Neurofeedback Previous experience working in a residential treatment setting preferred Bachelor of Arts/Science, either completed or working towards completion, strongly preferred Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development Excellent opportunity for those entering Psychology or Social Work careers or looking for experience in psychology, social work, or neurology.
