Contributes towards the delivery of quality health care with a concern for the well-being of those served. Provides high quality patient care by performing intake assessment, determining diagnosis, developing and maintaining a treatment plan, concurrent reviews and discharge planning for patients in the Behavioral Health Program. Therapy may include individual, family, couples or group counseling as appropriate, using clinically sound and evidence-based practices as current with state of employment Mental Health laws, regulatory agencies, and policies and standards of care. •Job Requirements•In addition to bringing humankindness to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: + Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related field + Licensed Clinical Social Worker + Two years of direct behavioral clinical experience providing individual, group or family therapy in an inpatient or outpatient setting Competence with DSM diagnostic criteria and treatment planningDemonstrates clinical and ethical professionalism, conflict resolution and critical thinking skills Sedentary work - prolonged periods of sitting and exert up to 10 lbs. force occasionally •Where You'll Work•As one of the busiest ERs in Utah, Holy Cross Hospital - West Valley is known for offering a broad spectrum of medical services and specialty clinics to care for the diverse healthcare needs of our growing community.
