Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our dynamic behavioral health team. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive mental health and behavioral therapy services to diverse populations, including children, adolescents, and adults. Your expertise will help individuals and families navigate complex emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, fostering resilience and promoting well-being. Responsibilities Conduct thorough patient assessments, including diagnostic evaluations and intake interviews, to develop tailored treatment plans. Deliver individual, group, and family counseling sessions utilizing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, art therapy, and applied behavior analysis (ABA). Implement crisis intervention strategies to support clients experiencing acute emotional or behavioral distress. Collect and document medical records, treatment progress notes, and other relevant data in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Manage case loads by coordinating services across multidisciplinary teams, ensuring seamless case management and continuity of care. Provide specialized counseling for clients with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorder (ASD), including behavior management and conflict resolution techniques. Facilitate specialized programs such as PTSD care, gender issues counseling, or Christian counseling based on client needs. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical terminology and mental health best practices to enhance patient care quality. Qualifications Proven experience in home & community care settings or behavioral health environments. Strong background in social work, addiction counseling, or related fields; experience with child & family counseling preferred. Proficiency in data collection methods and medical documentation standards aligned with HIPAA compliance. Familiarity with diagnostic evaluation tools for mental health assessments. Knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), crisis management techniques, and group therapy facilitation. Excellent communication skills for working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges; experience working with children is highly desirable. Certifications in mental health counseling, social work licensure, or relevant specialties such as PTSD care or crisis intervention are a plus. Pay:
$55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
