  • Behavior Therapist
  • Early Intervention (18 months-6 years) Green Mountain Behavior Consulting is seeking multiple Behavior Therapists to join our NEW team at Green Mountain Horizons Clinic working in a clinic setting with individuals 18 months to 6 years old, as we expand into the North East Kingdom (NEK)! The Behavior Therapist will be responsible for providing behavior
  • analytic services and programs with individuals diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), other developmental disabilities, and/or emotional-behavioral disorders.
Each Behavior Therapist will report directly to at least one BCBA® or BCaBA responsible for the assessment, program development, and ongoing supervision of the behavior-analytic program. to be a part of our growing team!! Qualifications
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree preferred but not required
  • Experience working with individuals with ASD or other developmental disabilities preferred
  • Clean driving record and drivers License
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to be enthusiastic and engaging
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to be flexible with change Behavior Analytic Responsibilities
  • Implement and review behavior analytic programming as instructed under the supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA
  • Implements behavior reduction, skill acquisition, and crisis emergency procedures as instructed under the supervision of a BCBA or BCaBA.
  • Collects accurate and timely data throughout the course of the program day
  • Completes any and all mandatory reporting documentation required by the clinic and law by the end of the same service delivery day.
  • Implements crisis and emergency response procedures when warranted using the approved and trained intervention techniques
  • Maintains client confidentiality to the maximum extent required by law
  • Collaborates and interacts professionally with co-workers, care-givers and outside service providers
  • Maintains professional appearance and interactions
  • Refrains from engagement in any activities or relationships that constitute a conflict of interest
  • Attends supervision meetings as scheduled, accepts feedback from direct supervisors and adjusts performance as necessary Professional Duties and Expectations
  • Arrives on time to all regularly scheduled work shifts and follows company procedure in the event of an unscheduled cancellation or emergency
  • Obtains and maintains all company-requested training including, but not limited to: CPR/First Aid certification, Mandatory Reporting Requirements, and (when applicable) RBT® certification
  • Obtains and/or participates in all required in-service trainings required by the clinic
  • Refrains from the use of personal devices (e.g. cell phones, laptops, iPads, etc.) during working hours unless permitted by the direct supervisor or in cases of emergency
  • Adheres to all current company policies and procedures including, but not limited to: appropriate dress, requests for time off, call-out procedures, alcohol/drug use or possession, etc.
  • Demonstrates the highest standards of respect for client welfare, dignity, and safety
  • Always demonstrates critical thinking, problem solving-abilities, and sound judgment
  • Completes required tasks to support day to day functioning at the clinic (cleaning, material prep, curriculum development, etc.)
  • Other duties as assigned by BCaBA/BCBA®
