Who We Are:
CHILDREN'S CENTER
is a private non-profit community mental health agency using a strengths-based, client-directed outcome-informed approach to services. We serve approximately 2,000 children and families annually. Exciting Opportunity for Mental Health Professionals Who Are Passionate About Helping Kids and Families.
Child and Family Therapist :
We are expanding our mental health program. MSW or MA with experience working with children/adolescents with mental health conditions and their family members in a mental health setting. Requires strong diagnostic/documentation skills and ability to work in fast-paced outpatient clinic. Position is both clinic and school-based. This is a full-time position. Counselor registration through the Dept. of Health in State of WA required . We offer dynamic and inspiring supervision and team consultation meetings and the chance to hone your clinical skills. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing with a broad variety of people, including staff, consultants, supervisors and management. Ability to work effectively as a team member. Ability to engage families in the therapeutic process. Ability to maintain confidentiality and appropriate professional boundaries. Knowledge of child development, DSM V diagnostic criteria, clinical assessment, treatment planning and delivery of clinical services. Ability to organize and manage a client caseload. Strong organization skills to include use of electronic health record software for scheduling, time management and all clinical documentation Ability to work effectively with diverse cultures. Strong interpersonal skills, positive attitude, openness to feedback and supervision.
