Genetic Counselor Assistant Brar Genomics and Perinatal Center Riverside, CA Job Details Part-time $20 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Flexible schedule Qualifications Biology Spanish Medical administrative support Attention to detail Full Job Description Part-Time Genetic Counselor Assistant Maternal Fetal Medicine Practice - Riverside/San Bernardino, CA Area A busy Maternal Fetal Medicine practice is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented part-time Genetic Counselor Assistant to support two genetic counselors in a fast-paced prenatal clinical setting.
Position Responsibilities:
Track patients and genetic testing results Communicate normal test results to patients Notify genetic counselors of abnormal results requiring follow-up Coordinate and follow up on referrals Assist with reports and invoicing for the Genetic Disease Screening Program Provide general administrative support to the genetic counseling team
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Biology or a related field preferred Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking skills Ability to work independently and maintain attention to detail in a busy clinical environment Prior healthcare or genetics experience preferred, but not required Spanish-speaking skills are a plus, but not required
Schedule:
Part-time position Flexible hours available following completion of training This position is ideal for candidates interested in genetic counseling, prenatal genetics, women's health, or other healthcare professions seeking valuable clinical experience.
