Short Description The Genetic Counselor Entry position supports the Pediatric Genetics team with the provision of high-quality patient care. The role focuses on the coordination of genetic testing and hereditary risk counseling for pediatric patients and their families. Coordinate and perform all services provided by the Pediatric Genetics Counseling team under the supervision of the Geneticist.

Prepare charts for clinical encounters Coordinate genetic testing for various hereditary syndromesPerform all aspects of hereditary risk counselingConduct literature reviews to identify evidence-based guidance for specific syndromesProvide education to referring physicians and the community at large about hereditary syndromesOther responsibilities as deemed appropriate by the Medical Director Experience Required 0-2 years' experience in pediatric genetic counseling preferred Education Requirements Master's Degree Required License/Certification Requirements Eligible for American Board of Genetic Counseling (ABGC) certification Salary Min ($) USD $29.00 Salary Max ($) USD $48.00
