E.A.R. Children's Academy | Homeschool Program | Laguna Hills, CA As B.E.A.R. Children's Academy continues to grow, we are expanding our team and seeking a passionate Science Educator to join us. We are looking for an educator who can inspire curiosity, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of discovery in our students. This is an opportunity for an educator who believes science is more than learning facts—it's about asking questions, investigating the world, making discoveries, and helping children understand how science connects to everyday life.

Location:

Classes take place outdoors at one of the community parks in the Lake Forest/Laguna Hills area.

Mid-August 2026 Our Approach At B.E.A.R. Children's Academy, we believe learning happens best when students actively engage with ideas through meaningful, hands-on experiences. We are looking for an educator who can bring science to life by: Inspiring curiosity and scientific thinking Creating engaging, hands-on experiments and investigations Encouraging inquiry, observation, and problem-solving Helping students make meaningful real-world connections Fostering deep conceptual understanding rather than memorization Enjoying collaboration with small, mixed-age groups Our goal is not simply to teach science, but to help students think like scientists—observing, questioning, experimenting, and drawing conclusions with confidence. We provide the yearly schedule and all required standards. Because science is a comprehensive, hands-on program, we are looking for an educator who already has experience (minimum 1-2 years) teaching science and is confident delivering a well-structured curriculum. We welcome educators who bring their own science program, curriculum, or instructional approach that aligns with our educational philosophy and goals. All materials and supply costs are covered by the academy, allowing you to focus on creating engaging learning experiences for our students.
