We invite you to become part of Connecticut's most comprehensive healthcare network. St. Vincent's Medical Center in Bridgeport has more than 3,200 employees. It includes a 473-bed community teaching hospital, a 76-bed inpatient psychiatric facility in Westport, a large multispecialty provider group, and special needs services for adults and children. St. Vincent's is the first hospital in Fairfield County to be integrated into the Hartford HealthCare network and is the system's second-largest hospital. We are looking for dynamic professionals to join our training team as EMT Instructors. In this position, you will provide student instruction in all domains of learning, including affective, didactic, and psychomotor. Training instructors need to have advanced knowledge of the materials they are teaching and be subject matter experts for their students. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Preparing lecture materials for the assigned topic Provide direct skills instruction and demonstrations Evaluate, record, and report on student progress Coordination with the Program Coordinator and team members on student needs
Qualifications Required:
High School diploma or GED and CT EMT license -EMSI preferred Advanced skills in
EMS & EMT
Deep knowledge of theories, principles, and practices of
Emergency Medicine Preferred:
CT EMS instructor Cert CT Human Trafficking Instructor
