Peer Educator/ Outreach 2.6 2.6 out of 5 stars Coral Springs, FL 33071 $18 - $20 an hour - Full-time Community Rightful Center, Inc. 8 reviews $18 - $20 an hour - Full-time The Peer Educators are required to have knowledge of HIV and provide support to those who are effective by HIV. Peer Educator will work collaboratively with primary care and case management staff to identify newly diagnosed clients who can benefit from peer support, by offering hope and living proof that living with HIV is possible. Support clients in navigating the Ryan White service delivery system by educating new clients on the process of accessing core and support services Provide "peer support," including client orientation and education about health and social service delivery systems. Assist with initial client intake, paperwork, and applications for financial and medical eligibility, Accompany clients to initial appointments for medical care and other services. Make phone calls to clients for the purpose of reminding them of medical appointments, in order to improve the client's attendance at appointments and reduce no-shows. Follow universal safety precautions and Participate in staff meetings and other meetings as needed. Ensure HIV positive clients maintain enrollment in medication service Participate in on-going trainings as needed.
