Location:
Brevard County, Florida Salary:
Training rate $18.50/ hour for first 90 days. Family Empowerment Project (FEP) is seeking a compassionate, motivated professional to join our Healthy Start team. The Healthy Start Home Visitor provides education, support, and care coordination to pregnant women and families with infants to promote healthy pregnancies, healthy births, and positive child development outcomes. This position combines home visiting, health education, care coordination, and community outreach to help families access resources and build confidence in their parenting journey. What You'll Do Provide in-home education and support to pregnant women and families with infants. Deliver evidence-based education on prenatal care, childbirth preparation, breastfeeding, parenting, and infant development. Conduct assessments, screenings, and Healthy Start home visits. Connect families to community resources and supportive services. Monitor participant progress and support healthy maternal and infant outcomes. Maintain timely and accurate documentation in the Well Family System. Participate in team meetings, training opportunities, and quality improvement activities. Build relationships with community partners and referral sources. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in social work, public health, nursing, psychology, health education, or a related field; OR Associate's degree with at least three years of relevant experience; OR Two years of college coursework plus three years of related experience.
