Job Description:
Requires scheduling flexibility (days/evenings/weekends), with majority dayshift. No Holidays IBCLC certification required Assesses and evaluates breastfeeding effectiveness of Mother/Baby dyads while valuing Family Centered Care concepts. Documents effectively in a timely manner, allowing for continuity of care with co-workers. Functions effectively with fluctuating patient census, prioritizing and managing day-to-day work. Provides breastfeeding plans for discharge. Advises and recommends standards of care regarding management of breastfeeding problems using extensive breastfeeding knowledge.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing [Required] Ability to use Interpreter service appropriately [Required] Additional languages preferred, especially Spanish [Preferred]
Work Experience:
2+ years in maternal/child nursing role including breastfeeding support [Required] 3+ years in maternal/child nursing role including breastfeeding support [Preferred]
Licenses and Certifications:
Registered Nurse (RN) [Preferred] IBCLC certification (Required)

Pay Range:
