Job Overview Dayspring Talent Group is seeking experienced American Heart Association Basic Life Support Instructors to join our growing instructor network and support upcoming training events in the Chicago area. This opportunity is ideal for instructors who are passionate about teaching lifesaving skills in a professional, hands-on learning evironment. Qualified instructors will have the opportunity to support healthcare, corporate, community, and government training programs as future opportunities become available. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive lesson plans that align with certified CPR and first aid training standards Deliver engaging classroom instruction to individuals and groups, ensuring understanding of CPR, first aid, and emergency response procedures Demonstrate proper techniques for performing CPR, using mannequins and other training tools effectively Facilitate discussions on safety protocols, emergency procedures, and accident prevention strategies Assess participant progress through practical demonstrations and knowledge assessments Maintain accurate records of training sessions, attendance, and certification statuses Stay current with the latest CPR guidelines, safety protocols, and teaching methodologies to ensure high-quality instruction Minimum Qualifications Current American Heart Association BLS Instructor Prior experience in teaching or instructing adult education classes is highly desirable Strong background in lifesaving skills such as CPR, first aid, or lifeguard experience preferred Experience teaching adult learners Excellent public speaking and presentation skills Reliable transportation Professional appearance and demeanor Join us as a CPR Instructor (Contract) and play a vital role in building safer communities through expert training!
