Wellness Health Coach

Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand clients' health status, goals, and challenges. Develop personalized care plans that incorporate nutrition, exercise, behavioral health strategies, and wellness techniques. Utilize motivational interviewing techniques to inspire clients and enhance their commitment to change. Lead engaging health coaching sessions focused on weight loss, nutrition education, stress management, and overall wellness. Provide guidance on physical activity options such as personal training routines or yoga practices suited to individual needs. Track progress regularly, adjust care plans as necessary, and motivate clients to stay committed to their health journeys. Collaborate with other health professionals or fitness staff within the health club or gym setting to ensure holistic support for clients. Skills Strong knowledge of health coaching principles, behavior change strategies, and motivational interviewing techniques. Experience in creating effective care plans tailored to diverse client needs. Proficiency in nutrition counseling, weight loss strategies, and fitness programming including personal training or yoga instruction. Excellent teaching skills with the ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and positively. Background in behavioral health or mental wellness practices is a plus. Passion for promoting healthy lifestyles through engaging coaching methods and supportive interactions. Ability to motivate others while maintaining a professional yet energetic demeanor. Pay:

$15.00 - $19.00 per hour
