Job Description

Overview Maryland's leading providers of security, firearms, special police, and professional development training. We are seeking experienced and motivated instructors to join our growing training team.

We are looking for qualified instructors to teach firearms and a variety of security-related courses. The ideal candidate will have real-world law enforcement, military, security, or public safety experience and enjoy helping students succeed. Responsibilities Develop and deliver engaging training sessions on firearm operation, safety protocols, and security procedures tailored to adult learners. Conduct practical demonstrations of firearm handling, maintenance, and safety measures in compliance with legal standards. Create comprehensive curricula that incorporate emergency medicine principles, CPR, first aid, and EMT techniques relevant to security contexts. Assess trainee performance through hands-on exercises, written tests, and real-world simulations to ensure mastery of skills. Maintain accurate records of training attendance, assessments, certifications, and progress reports for all participants. Stay current with industry regulations, law enforcement practices, military standards, and emergency response protocols to ensure training relevance. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies and emergency responders to incorporate best practices into training modules. Skills Current firearms instructor certification (NRA, USCCA, MPCTC, or equivalent) Strong firearm safety knowledge Professional appearance and communication skills Ability to teach both classroom and practical exercises Reliable transportation Ability to pass background screening
Pay:
$23.00 - $25.00 per hour
License/Certification:
