Full Job Description Job Summary:
The Success Coach is responsible for making real time connections to community resources, providing assistance in accessing tools or training, and also providing their own training to allow employees affiliated with an Employer Resource Network® (ERN®) member company to overcome the problems both inside and outside of work that affect their productivity in the workplace. The Success Coach will assist employees of member companies with needs such as financial literacy, communication skills, conflict resolution, social and professional expectations, and how to work through a challenging situation from start to resolution. The Success Coach will work closely with members of the Lead Organization team, Human Resources and/or management representatives, employees from member companies, community resource organizations, and ERN USA staff and other Success Coaches during training and peer learning. The work involves interviewing employees to identify problems, determining the level of assistance needed, and referring employees to the appropriate agency or other follow-up services. Responsibilities require considerable contact with employee-members of various socio-economic and diverse workforces.
Desired Education, Skills & Talents :
Post-secondary diploma required; preference for post-secondary degree in a related field (e.g. Human Services, Human Resources, Sociology, or Psychology) At least two years of related field experience Software proficiency in Microsoft Office required; if not already proficient, ability and willingness to learn Salesforce data entry and reporting The ability to work well independently and in a team environment, and possess excellent communication, organizational, multi-tasking and creative thinking/problem solving skills Must demonstrate sound understanding of documentation, handling sensitive information, and confidentiality practices Ability to respond sensitively, patiently, and timely to clients, member companies, staff, management, referral sources, and the public Results-oriented and strong ability to solve practical problems and carry out responsibilities as outlined
