Swim Instructor Training:

Our Swim Instructors complete a comprehensive 40-hour paid training program that includes three parts:

Online Training:

Learn the principles of water safety and instruction techniques. In-Water Training (Without Kids): Practice essential skills in the pool.

Co-Teaching:

Work alongside a Master Instructor to gain hands-on experience with students.

Proven Curriculum:

At Aqua-Tots, our award-winning curriculum is designed to make learning to swim both fun and effective.

Age-Appropriate Levels:

Lessons are tailored to each child's age and ability, starting from foundational water safety for infants to advanced stroke development for older children.

Small Class Sizes:

With low student-to-instructor ratios, each child receives personalized attention to boost their confidence and skill.

Life-Saving Skills:

Our program emphasizes water safety, equipping children with essential skills to stay safe in and around water.

Progress Tracking:

Parents can easily track their child's progress through consistent feedback and milestone achievements.

Key Responsibilities:

Teach swim lessons to children aged 4 months to 12 years using Aqua-Tots curriculum. Ensure a safe, fun, and engaging environment in the pool. Communicate effectively with parents about their child's progress. Maintain a clean and organized pool area and equipment. Support team members and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and a passion for working with children and families. Experience in swim instruction, lifeguarding, or coaching is a plus but not required—we will train you! Current Standard First Aid, CPR-C, and AED certification (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)- we will train you! Ability to pass a background check.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist new clients with registration and membership sales. Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and manage messages in a professional and friendly manner. Handle and resolve client concerns with professionalism and care. Greet parents and students warmly, checking students in using our attendance tracking system. Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, restrooms, changing areas, and observation spaces. Create a welcoming environment by greeting everyone with a smile and ensuring they feel at home.

Qualifications:

Strong customer service skills and a passion for working with children and families. Intermediate computer proficiency, including familiarity with Word, Excel, and other software systems.
