- $2,500 Job Overview The Site Lead is responsible for managing on-site health and wellness operations, including implementing wellness initiatives, overseeing injury prevention services, and supporting employees through case management and ergonomic guidance. This person is the first managerial point of contact on-site. A core responsibility of this position is overseeing site scheduling, managing staffing needs, and submitting required reports. The Site Lead will conduct wellness screenings, provide first-aid treatment, support safety initiatives, and contribute to the development of site-specific wellness programs. This role reports directly to the Area Manager. Key Responsibilities 1. Site Lead - Specific Responsibilities Manage site scheduling and proactively cover staffing gaps by adjusting hours or picking up additional shifts. Submit hour logs to the Area Manager for approval. Submit shift pay reports (site, day, shift) to the Area Manager. Complete monthly and quarterly site reviews, including inventory and supply assessments; submit needs and requests to the Area Manager. Provide direct oversight to ATS employees on-site with support from the Area Manager. Support case management, performance improvement processes, and other employee-related tasks. 2. Wellness Screening & Assessment Conduct wellness screenings, including blood pressure and blood glucose testing. Perform orthopedic and musculoskeletal evaluations. 3. Injury Treatment & Case Management Provide first-aid treatment for musculoskeletal complaints (e.g., ice/heat therapy, stretching, massage, taping techniques, non-rigid bracing). Educate employees on injury prevention, health protocols, and general wellness practices. Utilize Telehealth services when applicable, ensuring proper documentation and follow-up. 4. Ergonomics & Injury Prevention Conduct ergonomic job risk analyses (task analysis, posture assessment, risk factor identification). Develop and implement ergonomic interventions to reduce injury risk and improve employee health. Collaborate with employees to design creative and effective ergonomic solutions. 5. Program Development & Implementation Lead, design, and implement wellness programs such as tabling events, lunch-and-learns, and employee challenges. Facilitate quarterly wellness challenges focused on fitness, nutrition, mental health, or other health initiatives. Consistently introduce new wellness program ideas and initiatives to ATS. 6. Communication & Reporting Ensure all stakeholders are updated on potential site or staffing changes. Lead communications with safety personnel regarding wellness activities and injury prevention efforts. Prepare and present monthly and annual wellness reports, including utilization, cost savings, injury trends, and return-to-work metrics. Write newsletter articles and communication materials that promote wellness initiatives. 7. Case Management & Advocacy Provide case management services for non-occupational injuries and act as a patient advocate. Establish and maintain relationships with external healthcare providers to support coordinated care. 8. Mental Health Support Provide mental health first aid and intervene in wellness-related mental health situations as needed. 9. Safety & Compliance Attend safety meetings, safety stand-downs, and PTP meetings as requested. Complete administrative tasks (forms, documentation, reports, inventory management) in a timely manner. 10. Public Speaking & Engagement Lead daily stretch-and-flex sessions for employees. Use public speaking and interpersonal skills to drive engagement in wellness topics. Communicate professionally with client representatives and coordinate on-site needs. 11. Inventory Management Maintain and manage wellness supply inventory for the clinic and first-aid kits. Submit supply requests promptly to ensure availability of all required materials. 12. Employee Leadership Train new hires and Health & Wellness Specialists as needed. Serve as a mentor and role model for ATS standards and expectations. Lead the employee improvement process—including coaching conversations, disciplinary documentation, and improvement plan implementation—in partnership with the Area Manager.Note:
This job description is not exhaustive. Additional duties may be assigned based on site or client needs. Employees are responsible for meeting the full scope of their role. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of athletic training experience. Bachelor's degree in a related field. Board-Certified Athletic Trainer (ATC). Current state licensure. Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification. Willingness to travel to various client locations as needed. Knowledge of OSHA recordability and workers' compensation requirements. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and employees. Previous ergonomic and/or occupational health experience preferred. Position may require proof ofCOVID-19
vaccination. All non-site-specific employees must provide at least 5 days of on-site coverage per quarter as needed (Directors are only used as a last resort for PTO coverage). Working Conditions ATS operates in industrial and construction environments. Employees may work in all weather conditions and varying environmental settings depending on client needs. This may include walking on uneven terrain or working in dusty environments. Employees may need to lift up to 25 pounds.
