Hours:
3pm- 11:30pm
FTE:
1.0- 40 hours (5x, 8 hour shifts per week)
Rate:
Starts at $36.90/hour with potential for higher pay based on relevant exp., and additional $4.70/hr for the Evenings shift differential. Expected to support all Behavioral Health nursing units as needed at the direction of leadership.
Job Description Summary:
Oversees a focused unit/group, often working directly with new staff and preceptors, and continually assessing the onboarding process. Delivers educational experiences to small groups for the assigned unit. Does not manage staff but must work in collaboration with leadership and network with Professional Development and other system educators to ensure organizational and department goals are met.

Essential Functions:
Develops and manages new hire orientations for assigned unit. Assesses and develops unit specific education to meet needs, collaborating with leadership and system resources. Serves as educational resource to assigned unit; facilitates communication of policy changes and system educational opportunities impacting assigned unit. Provides classroom style education, huddles, or other methods of delivery of education targeting needs of assigned unit. Oversees competency assessments and skills training.
Education Requirement:
BSN, required. MSN or related field, preferred
Licensure Requirement:
RN, Ohio, required.
Certifications:
Certification in Professional Development/Education, Leadership or Clinical Specialty, preferred.
Skills:
Competency in nursing clinical practice applicable to the clinical unit/area assigned.
Experience:
Three years of experience as an RN required, pediatric experience, preferred.
