Overview:
Must embody an energetic and engaging personality, as well as being passionate about helping children gain access to healthcare and education. Evenings and weekends required as needed. 0.8 FTE school year schedule, with June and July off.
Job Description Summary:
Coordinates and strengthens partnerships between Nationwide Children's Hospital, schools, and community organizations to optimize student health outcomes and integrate healthcare services within the school setting.
Job Description:
Essential Functions:
Serves as a liaison between program staff, school personnel, families, and community partners, supporting effective communication and problem-solving. Supports operational logistics to ensure effective implementation of school health services. Collaborates to develop, implement, and evaluate patient outreach and follow-up, promoting school health services and improving engagement. Networks with local and regional external partners and coordinates events to promote school-based health services and expand community reach. Partners with stakeholders to assess service gaps, identify resources, and implement solutions that improve access and outcomes.
Education Requirement:
Bachelor's Degree, required. Master's Degree, preferred.
Skills:
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills. Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Effective relationship management skills. Proficiency with MS Office and interactive computer technologies.
Experience:
Five years of experience working with children of all ages, required. Experience in school settings and program development, required. Experience with healthcare systems or community/public health, preferred. Experience with innovating marketing and outreach strategies, preferred.
