RICHLAND PUBLIC HEALTH JOB OPPORTUNITY

Salary:

$25.63 per hour (37 hours per week)

Shift Times:

Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs (8:00am to 4:30pm) Friday (8:00am to 4:00pm). May include evening and weekends. Nationally accredited, Richland Public Health, is seeking qualified candidates with a passion for community involvement and health education. Must be able to assess, create, plan, implement and evaluate evidence-based health education and promotion programs to make a positive impact in Richland County. General Statement of Duties (include but are not limited to): Assess, plan, implement and evaluate health education programs. Administer public health education and promotion strategies on various health topics. Conduct presentations on a variety of health topics to diverse populations represented in Richland County. Shall maintain a current working knowledge of all programs and services available through Richland Public Health. Shall develop and implement marketing/promotional/public relations and educational programs for specific projects as assigned. Participate in community health fairs and other events. Required education, experience, and training: Bachelor's Degree in Community/Public Health Education, Health Education, Health Promotion, Nursing, Public Administration, or other related degrees. Three (3) years of public health related experience preferred. Knowledge of the core functions and essential services of public health. Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES) preferred. Must possess and maintain a current and valid Ohio Driver's license and vehicle insurance. The specific statements shown in this description are not intended to be all inclusive.
