Lactation Consultant 995 Willagillespie Road, Eugene, OR 97401 Up to $50 an hour - Part-time Up to $50 an hour - Part-time Come join our friendly team and enjoy working in a positive environment as lactation consultant in a busy pediatric clinic. We're looking for an experienced lactation consultant to join our team! An individual who enjoys treating every patient and their families with compassion and have an enthusiastic disposition.

Essential functions include:

• Facilitates breastfeeding support on a part-time basis for pediatric patients
• Promotes breastfeeding and assists mothers in reaching their own breastfeeding goals
• Communicates with Pediatricians and Nurse Practitioners to improve lactation support for clients who elect to breastfeed
• Reviews, updates and evaluates suitable educational materials to facilitate understanding
• Documents patient education and progress in accordance with practice standards within the HER
• Maintains professional growth in the area of educational techniques to promote quality patient education services
• Facilitates prenatal and newborn classes as needed
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule

Qualifications/Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required
• IBCLC, CLC or lactation training is required
• Bachelor's, Associate's degree, or in progress is preferred

Pay:

Up to $50.00 per hour
